Quality Engineer
THE ROLE:
We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team at our innovative manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards for our products and processes. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to quality assurance and process improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure products meet established quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of incoming materials, processes, and finished products through various methods including visual analysis and using measurement tools.
- Identify and resolve quality issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in the development and review of quality documentation such as inspection plans, quality manuals, and standard operating procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and recommend process enhancements.
- Facilitate quality audits (internal and external) and coordinate responses and actions as necessary.
- Train and guide team members on quality standards and procedures to ensure understanding and compliance across the organization.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on industry standards and advancements related to quality engineering and manufacturing processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in quality management systems and methodologies such as Six Sigma, ISO standards, and Lean manufacturing.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a track record of successfully implementing process improvements.
- Experience with statistical analysis software and quality management tools.
