Plasman is currently seeking a new member to join our Information Technology (IT) team as an IT Technical Analyst

POSITION TITLE 

The IT Technical Analyst will coordinate and support all IT activities within the Fort Payne, AL plant, working closely with the corporate IT team. This role provides first- and second-level IT support, manages hardware/software installations, maintains network infrastructure, and supports plant data center systems. The analyst will also assist with disaster recovery planning, vendor management, and after-hours support rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and networking across plant and office environments.
• Manage IT Helpdesk tickets and deliver timely first- and second-level support.
• Configure, install, and maintain workstations, servers, MES systems, printers, and mobile devices.
• Support SQL databases at a beginner–intermediate level.
• Troubleshoot and maintain WAN/LAN networks in multi-VLAN environments.
• Perform system administration tasks: user accounts, permissions, backups, antivirus monitoring, and printer management.
• Maintain accurate IT equipment inventory.
• Support and maintain plant Data Center hardware/software (Windows Server, VMware, Veeam, etc.).
• Test, update, and maintain disaster recovery plans.
• Coordinate with external vendors for networking, security, and application support.
• Participate in an after-hours IT support rotation.
• Promote teamwork and ensure a safe, organized work environment.
