Process Lab Technician

Are you ready to be part of a dynamic and supportive work environment? We're looking for motivated individuals to join our 2nd shift team! Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday: 3:00PM-1:00AM

  1. Assure all process tanks are at operational level before taking samples.
  2. Perform wet titration on process tanks per analysis schedule.
  3. Hand off chemical additives to Machine Operators.
  4. Maintain SPC charts by monitoring run charts in Truchem.
  5. Check scrap reports for process problems, troubleshoot process line.
  6. Run hull cell panels for satin gloss readings.
  7. Takes count of chemical Inventory of lab supplies, advises Process Engineer of needed supplies, and puts incoming supplies away following 6S procedures.
  8. Enter in outside lab reports into Truchem.
  9. Alert Process Technician to perform corrective actions on process tanks.
  10. Verify plating process through STEP and plate thickness test.
  11. Perform several tests based on Customer requirement and standards such as CASS, Thermal Cycle, Peel Test and record results accordingly, as well as perform downtime testing.
  12. Communicate with previous and following Lab Analysis Technicians, Machine Operators, Wastewater Treatment Operators, Supervisors, and Process Engineer. Address any problems and or get updated on ongoing problems.
  13. Utilize Communication Board, Logbook, and Outlook to report any important messages.
  14. Overtime is required with little or no prior notice.
  15. Maintain 6S in the laboratory
  16. Serves as a member of Emergency Response Team.
  17. Completes other duties as assigned.
