Plasman, Windsor 1 Manufacturing, 5250 Outer Drive, Oldcastle, ON, N9G 0C3, is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as:

PROCESS TECHNICIAN - Weekend Crew

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with good communication skills. The Process Technician is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Mold set-up as required

Ensure proper set up as set out by the Technical/Shift Supervisor

Monitor and make process adjustments as required to maintain quality and productivity levels.

Direct Set-up technicians, in a manner conducive to their development and education.

Operate overhead crane in a safe manner

Set-up end of arm tooling on robots

Ensure first/last off inspections are completed and maintain SPC aspects of process and react when problems arise

Perform production runs when required

Perform tryout and production related duties as required and communicate concerns

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed related post-secondary education

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred 2 years working within a technical capacity

Experience with injection molding processes and set up within a manufacturing environment

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Must have reliable transportation, and be willing and able to work all three shifts (Days, Afternoons, Midnights)
