Plasman is currently seeking a new member to join our QUALITY team as a:

QUALITY SUPERVISOR 

The Quality Supervisor or designate is responsible for providing support and assistance to the Quality Manager in all areas as needed, and directing the activities of the Quality Technicians and Inspection Auditors in the Quality Department at Plasman

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise quality assurance teams in maintaining quality standards within the production process.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes while continuously seeking enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with all internal and external standards, regulations, and requirements.
• Analyze data to identify areas for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Train and develop team members on quality procedures and standards.
• Conduct audits and internal inspections to maintain product quality and ensure system integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues effectively.
• Prepare and present quality reports to management with insights and recommendations.
• Ensure a personal and associate awareness of all quality and business-related operating systems (ISO/IATF).

Qualifications, Skills and Experience We're Looking For

• Secondary school diploma, with preference given to those with post-secondary education, training in a related field (Quality, engineering, Business) - a combination with years working experience will be considered.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar role.
• Proficiency in quality management systems and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Experience in the automotive sector is an asset.
