Payroll Administrator
Plasman Greer, is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as:
Human Resources Payroll Administrator
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this position is responsible for:
Assisting and supporting the HR Manager in all facets of human resources, primarily focused on processing and completing payroll and benefits administration and reporting. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
Develop, update and provide recommendations for policies and procedures related to payroll and benefits
Advise employee and management personnel on the interpretation of payroll and benefits policies, programs and procedures
Resolve any employee issues related to payroll and benefits
Recommend, develop and maintain an accurate human resources information system including employee personnel files and relevant electronic data files
Responsible for monitoring completion of daily time sheets and assisting in completion of weekly payroll and associated tasks
Coordinate and maintain training needs and records and provide training, where required.
Manage employee absenteeism and attendance program, issue corrective disciplinary action as required, report on statistics
Conduct new employee orientation and ensure paperwork is processed and benefits are managed properly
Support all aspects of Health and Safety, working in conjunction with the Health and Safety Coordinator.
Contribute to efforts in maintaining a union free workplace by participating in team member committee meetings as necessary
All other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager, Operations/General Manager, HR Lead or the VP of HR
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in human resources or PHR/SHRM-CP
Experience in performing HR duties in a Manufacturing environment, preferably Tier1, Automotive
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a human resource role, with a broad understanding of all HR facets, preference give to those with a minimum 2-years payroll related experience, preferably within ADP
Demonstrated work knowledge of multiple human resource areas preferred
Demonstrates a high level of integrity, trust and composure and viewed as approachable by all levels of the organization
Strong data analysis and basic research skills
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Strong conflict resolution skills
Strong planning skills with proven ability to implement
