Key Responsibilities
Job description:
Distribute raw material and finished product within the plant
Direct Reports to:
Production Supervisor
Principal Functions:
• Apply Plasman's guiding principles when carrying out the responsibilities of the position, complying with the quality and environmental policy and objectives, procedures, standards, policies, work instructions, etc.
• Always keep the hoppers, hoses, filters, dryers and grinders clean and ready for use to avoid contamination of materials and delays in starting the order.
• Generate maintenance work orders when the equipment with which it operates suffers any damage.
• Timely and duly supply, with the authorized amount of material, the work order, always filling out the material usage records.
• Ensure at all times, using the correct parameters, that the resin is properly dried for order start-up.
• Maintain at all times, during the order run, the adequate level of resin in the dryer and in the hopper to avoid delays in production.
• Carry out correctly the mixtures of materials (grind, pigment, etc.) according to the instructions of the order.
• Ensures that the material and/or finished product are perfectly identified before it is delivered to the production line and/or warehouse - identify weight, batches, type of material, etc
.
• Adequately and punctually supply the packaging material to the workstations - plastic containers, cardboard boxes and/or plastic bags, trays, etc.
• Removes the finished product from the machines ensuring that it is properly identified and released for quality.
• Removes the waste cardboard from the machines and place it in the corresponding area
• Maintains the 5's standard in your work area and in dryers
• Report to your supervisor any risk situation or unsafe condition that you detect while performing your duties.
• Complies with the necessary security measures to prevent accidents and environmental contingencies.
• Maintains a safe work environment and uses personal protective equipment at all times.
• Perform other functions as assigned that may not be described in this document.
• Management and administration of the central resin loading system.
• Management and administration of resin drying.
• Change of resin in machine and hooper cleaning.
• Change molds
• Follow up the production plan
• Take care of the equipment, machines, and molds
• Non-complex mold starts
• Assemble molds and connect water lines correctly.
• Give MP to molds when going down
• Safeguard the molds following the work instruction of mold assembly.
• Identify the molds according to the color of the labels.
• Follow-up on mold repairs generating documentation and samples.
• Ensure starts by verifying the quality of the product that is free of defects.
• Documents change to the process.
• Adjust critical machines with automations
• Propose process improvements
• Follow the escalation plan
• Train the rest of the team.
• Follow up on mold changes according to the schedule.
• Turn off equipment to reduce electrical energy consumption to reduce carbon footprint.
• Reduce hazardous materials generated in your area to contribute to ISO14000.
• Work as a team with the supervisor on duty to closely monitor the assemblies.
• Fill the production board with the assemblies made in their turn.
• Protect molds from potential risks of water leaks or corrosion.
Responsibility and authority:
· No one reports to this position
· It is responsible for loading raw materials to produce parts. These must be free of pollutants.
· Stop machines in case of unsafe conditions or quality problems.
